Sanjiv has over 22 years of experience in the corporate world, including 10+ years in Leadership positions. He now has 6+ years of consulting and coaching experience with telecom, BFSI, FMCG, BPO, Logistics and Services businesses in improving their strategic, sales and operational effectiveness.
Sanjiv spent over a decade in leadership roles in the IT industry at companies including Microsoft, Oracle and Wipro. In his years as a business leader, Sanjiv’s responsibilities included P&L management in sales & marketing leadership roles. He also led corporate initiatives like business operations, customer and partner satisfaction, competitive strategy, sales excellence, and organizational change management.
In his role as Microsoft’s CMO, he worked on marketing the brand and its components, customer and partner audience marketing, product line pricing, revenue & profitability, competition & market share. He was also responsible for sales and marketing integration, including co-development of overall subsidiary budgets, revenue plans and Go-To-Market initiatives with enterprise, SMB, Public Sector, OEM and Partner sales organizations.
Sanjiv’s sales experience includes field sales leadership – he has led large regional sales teams in the East and the West, working with enterprise, SMB and OEM customers. Sanjiv also headed the subsidiary’s inside selling rocess, including complete responsibility for a US$250M segment’s CRM and pipeline management.
Sanjiv has consulted on a range of sales enhancement levers like market sizing, segmentation, resourcing, sales organization structures, variable compensation models, sales readiness, go-to market planning (market coverage and marketing campaigns), and sales execution. In sales execution, Sanjiv has consulted over 40 organizations in telecom, IT/ITES, FMCG, FSI, Manufacturing, logistics, automation, services and several other industries. Sanjiv’s has also received training in Leading Change at the Kellogg School of Management, and in Strategic Leadership from
the Indian School of Business. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt holder.
